Today marks the first milestone in my treatment. I finally completed my 35 treatment course of radiation. Visit my medical oncologist this Thursday and determine if I am done with my first course of chemotherapy, already been extended to 9 weeks from the original scheduled 7 weeks, and schedule more scans to see if we can proceed with surgery. In spite of having to give up solid foods for about 3 weeks because of the radiation affecting my throat, I have kept my weight, strength and sprits up!! Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers!!
