Today marks the last day that Megan Kennedy reports on news for the Register-Herald in Eaton, Ohio (pictured on the left) . On Monday, she begins covering news and courtroom issues and drama in Lima, Ohio. Eaton is about an hour away from Dad and I, and Lima is about 3 hours away. Still closer to us than if she worked for the Chicago Tribune ( pictured on the right) . With baby steps she moves further away from us and that ever important living away and on your own sort of thing which will make her independence from us, a milestone for her AND us. CONGRATULATIONS, Meg and should the job in Lima lead to a newspaper job in Chicago or New York or even back home in Cincinnati, we will ALWAYS welcome you home!
