Today, me and my daughter Bethany Jean Holland set out to watch LLA day from the cheap seats. Stood at the fence looking at Thumper, when a man approached us and asked us if we were here for the LLA day, and if we would like to be inside the fence. On replying that we didnt have tickets, he then produced two spare guest tickets, as his wife and son couldnt attend and asked if we would like to use them. By this point I think I had a mahoosive grin on my face, and by this point my daughter was looking like she wanted to bounce around. We gratefully accepted them and whilst my daughter eagerly phoned her nan, we walked to the gate. This lovely gentleman restored my faith, and made the end of the flying season very special. The first time ever in the BBMF hangar, and boy what a day. Even got our tickets signed by Eric Quinney. Cannot believe how lucky we were! Thanks Alan Goode! If anyone knows him then he needs another handshake!
