Today me and my security partner were surrounded by our WIPP Management. We didnt know what was going on. We thought we had failed to detect a threat or let someone in that was not allowed. But they then presented us with an award For our hard work, dedication and professionalism on our Job and with our job duties. I got to say I was surprised. 7 years armed guard I never thought I would be handed an award for the job we do. Some think its easy but dont understand what we do all day to ensure the safety of our employees and visitors. Today me and my partner see that what we have done hasnt gone unnoticed. It was an awsome feeling hearing them give us thanks for our service. Some dont understand the stress , the headaches, the things we do and go threw and always wondering will today be our last. God bless u all and thank god for giving me this wonderful job , place to work and the ability to do what I love...
