Today, more so than on many other days, I know and appreciate the fact that the simple things in life are often those that provide me with the most joy, gratitude and satisfaction. As I was making 2 cheesy Snackwiches [ just CRAVING proper Cheese Toasties], pouring ice-cold cooldrink, in dark family room, keeping the heat out, fan on and just had a dip [ in the leaking and only 50cm height in water pool :-)] - while Evan is at lunch at the beautiful Tokara - an invitation that I declined, weeks ago, due to the need to balance deadlines and deliverables - I just again felt this inner peace of YES - this is where I need to be today. In solitude, quietude and just doing nothing. One fully-packed week of business and other responsibilities lies ahead. Without this silence and own time, I would not have been firing on full pistons in the week to come. Amazing how perfectly things work out * sits smiling, nibbling on delicious snackwiches, contemplating what next to select from PVR menu* Bliss I tell you....BLISS!
