Today my brother had surgery and as we were waiting for him to be called back he said I dont dont know how long we will be here today and I said well thats okay I brought a new book to read and this lady who was sitting next to me pulled out a really pretty bookmark and handed it to me and said here I hope you enjoy it. I asked her if she was a reader and she said not really she enjoyed puzzle books, she seen the author I was reading and we then discussed Danielle Steel and our favorite books of hers. We had a really nice conversation, then I asked her what her name was and she said Jewel............. with that my eyes teared up and my brother smiled at me, and the lady asked why the tears? I told her that our mothers name had been Jewel and that I had read to her Danielle Steels Journey passage and that the current book mark in my hand ........the one that I use is what I put in my mothers hand to hold as she was dying and for her viewing and as I grabbed it and the book this morning to bring I thought this way a part of her will be there with us today and her response was I just bought that on my way here today, I did not know then why I got it but now I do and she is here with you guys today. Another one of those signs or just a coincidence? Im pretty sure it was a sign:)
