Today, my childhood best friend passed away leaving so many loved ones behind. I didnt go see her.. I should have. I had plans to but was too late. All these memories of weeks being spent at my house and nights at hers. Busting trough my moms door singing I will survive just to let ppl know we were home. She was a true member of my family.. She was my sister and I only pray that her daughter knows the person she was. So loving and kind and most of all loyal to those whom she loved. No one will ever take her place. I feel wrong even saying this bc It has been years since we spoke. We lost contact me wrapped in my life and she trying to the best of her abilities to live hers.. She was so amazingly strong.. Amber, I know youre in a better place but that doesnt stop me from wondering why you and why so young. You were a good mother, friend, daughter and sister. You will forever remain in my heart and my family tree.
