Today my client asked me to look up and read about the wheat belly - TopicsExpress

Today my client asked me to look up and read about the wheat belly diet that some people where she works are doing this and it even was recommended by a doctor. She said next Saturday when we talk, I want to know what you think about it. I told her that I really truly only believe in one thing and have seen enough proof that I have developed what I truly do believe and have seen lots of proof in blood tests from other clients and my ownself and husband. Well, I did visit a health food store and when I told the lady there I was eating low carb and even following grain free, and gluten free cookbooks, she more or less told me that she believed that flour caused inflammation. Well, again, I do not believe it is from any one ingredient. It comes from eating too high of a carb count and getting hit with insulin. The insulin that hits you to counteract the high carb count or even not eating at all for 4 hours, then you get hit with 3 x the amount of insulin because your body thinks you are in starvation mode and not just gives the regular 15 to 20 carbs which is the right amount, now it gives you 45 grams for not eating and thinking you are starving. I believe it is all from insulin hitting your body. Insulin causes inflammation and all kinds of problems you really would not ever have if you did not go over 20 to 25 grams of carbs per meal. I think there are so many fad diets that people just do not know what to believe but low carbs per meal so you do not go over 25 to 30 grams per meal, smaller meals, 6 to 7 meals a day so you eat every 2.5 to 3 hours and do not exceed 4 hours so you do not get the 45 grams from 3x the dose of carbs for not eating, all of these principles all put together will keep you healthy. You can still eat too high a carb count and eliminate wheat and still eat too many and still get hit with insulin. You will not have high cholesterol if you do not get hit with insulin and will have balanced blood sugars, improve mood, no mood swings, and be more creative in your thinking from feeling better and have way more energy!!
