Today, my friends in Jars Of Clay played their last show for the foreseeable future after 20 years of the write songs, record an album, tour carousel. Folks dont think about or know just how much work this takes, and the toll it takes on families with kids, so Im glad for their families, who are all so incredibly special themselves. I have an amount of respect for these guys and what theyve done that cant be measured, and was just completely honored to get to see it play out over the last 20 years, from seeing them at an alternative station in Augusta to playing their 20th Anniversary show a few weeks ago in Franklin, TN. I toast a pint of the best to you guys tonight, Dan, Matthew, Charlie and Stephen.
