Today my heart goes out to all of those in great pain after the rough week the world endured, as well as those (including animals) who suffer silently during so many other times that we dont hear about through news, buzz words or hash tags. Thankfully we now live in a tiny, intensely connected world where were more awake and aware of these wrongdoings than ever before, and although I frequently read or hear protests from those who want to turn their heads away from all suffering- not see photos, or hear stories of sad issues and occurrences, if we all did that, wed never do anyone any good. Its always refreshing to see those who care about certain issues. Even if you feel helpless against these tragedies, simply by caring and holding space, youre promoting peace and raising some awareness. Continue to care as caring creates a ripple effect, and that is nearly everything.
