Today my jeep decided it would like to try and kill me. For those few ( i wont mention names! ) who have laughed at me for leaving my Jeep in gear when I park it, this is why. I decided to turn on my car to warm it up while I brought my bin inside. So i take it out of gear and turn it on. Walk down the driveway to collect my bin from the nature strip, I turn around just in time to see my jeep rolling down with the drivers door open! I quickly jump out of the way, have it clip my shoulder and watched as it hits my bin! but it doesnt stop there it keeps rolling with the bin behind it! i quickly snap out of it and run down the driveway, jump inside the car and go to pull the hand break up only to realise it WAS already up. Finally I fumble around and hit the breaks, ending my little mishap, with the jeep stationed in the middle of the road.... and cars coming in both directions.... thankfully, no one was hurt, besides my bin!! Im sure whoever witnessed it would have had a bit of a laugh at my expense... I on the other hand, nearly had a teary I was so shocked. someone must be looking after me upstairs, if I didnt look up in time i would now be a pancake :-/. Wont be relying on my hand break again thats for sure..........
