Today, my mom rented the DVD of the movie Feng Shui thinking that it was a Filipino movie about Feng Shui, the Chinese philosophical system of harmonizing everyone with the surrounding environment. She didnt know that it was a horror movie. She hates watching horror movies. When she watched the movie, she was shocked that her assumption was wrong and immediately turned the TV off. When I saw the DVD case of Feng Shui lying on the table, I was surprised that she went out and rented a horror movie, knowing that she hates watching horror movies. I commented about her selection and she sheepishly told me about her mistake. I could not help myself but laugh. So it got me thinking, have you ever watched a movie whether on purpose or by accident where you judged/assumed what the movie will be based on the title but then when you watched the movie you found out you were wrong?
