Today my thoughts went to the many quotes on my page when I read how God died for our sins. To me that is the tale told by religious leaders to keep us guilty of sin. To me God on the cross signifies the huge choice he made to come to Earth and show us how we have attacked our brothers, judge him, spit on them, beat them, all the most horrendous possibilities we commit on one another, including murder. His crucifixion proved that no matter what is done to our body, since he proved we are not the body by His resurrection, that we, the we that we are never die. But the crucifixion was to show and teach us how God created us to live by His living example and healing. To teach us to love one another as God loves us. To realize we made mistakes, and as we learn this lesson, we are forgiven. Fro loving unconditional, we do not hurt one another, even in thought.
