Today often makes me crazy. It has become a tradition at South for students to dump thousands and thousands of papers over the railings and onto the floor as they leave the building. The lack of respect for those left to clean it up is appalling. I felt it was necessary to send my kid this reminder text: FYI. Do NOT dump your papers over the railing or onto the commons floor after school. Garbage or recycle that stuff if you must, but I forbid you from being so horribly disrespectful to the custodians. They work hard and are to be valued as people. I hope I am clear. Grounding is the result if I hear or see different. Ps. I love you.
