Today on 24th september 2014 a meeting was held in the auditorium of islamic university under the chairman ship of Sheikh ul Jamia A. R. Trag. Several issues about academics and other fields were discussed in the auditorium with the staff members of all the departments. The meeting took the following points into consideration as fallows:- 1) There will be no holiday on saturday during the current semester/ session. 2) All the teaching staff should avoid taking casual leave as much as possible during the current semester. 3) All the employees in the whole university will donate their one day salary for the flood hit victims which will be collected by the university itself and will be donated to the victims of flood by the university itself. 4) Teachers must try to complete the 85 to 95 percent syllabus upto 20th december. 5) Students who have suffered any loss during the flood will be provided some help by the university. 5) No mass promotion will be granted to students but both minors and a major exam will be conducted at their own time. However some teachers told the authorities that the minor exams should be skipped now and a major examof 100 marks should be conducted jointly in the monthof december or january but the response was negative from the VC. He told thn pattern of exam will remain same.This is all which was discussed there.
