Today, on Epiphany Sunday, we thank God for his gracious presence and action in our lives and pray for Pauline Cafferkey and all with Ebola or other deadly diseases; for those who have been lost at sea and their families; those on long or difficult journeys, both literal and metaphorical; those who are gifted but reluctant to share their gifts with others; those who are generous in their love and service of God and neighbour; for reverence in our daily interactions with one another; for wisdom and truth in the forthcoming election debates; for all who have asked our prayers.
