Today, on March 7 I celebrate a milestone as I reach the prehistoric age as the oldest child of sardar Zorawar Singh Bains and Baldev Kaur. I thank all my friends and family for joining me in this adventure. Key moments in this journey include post graduate work at UC Berkeley under a noble laureate, married Betty Marot who gave me two beautiful daughters Pam and Maya, played a cricket test match for USA against Canada, helped Dad build our current home in Vasant Vihar, New Delhi, worked in the oil industry for 35+ years. Enjoyed playing cricket 52 years in USA. My four grand kids are a source of joy and amazement. Feel very blessed with my siblings in India. Proud of my brother Brig Madanjit Bains still working full time running a lawn mower factory of his design so golf courses and cricket fields in India maintain their elegance!
