Today on Whispers, join Tsetsei George-Okoro as we discuss Susan s story. Susan is a 40year old single lady who first fell in love at the age of 25 and she was suppose to get married to the guy who was 27. Preparations were in top gear when the guy won a visa lottery and eventually left the country. He promised to be in touch with her regularly but did on just two occasions. She was patient enough to wait for another two years but with constant complaints from family and closed friends she decided to let go. Then another man came along they dated for 3 years and on the verge of their getting married, the guy impregnated another girl There and then she decided to put a seal on her heart, no more love things until recently. She found herself fallen in love with a younger man. Shes falling in love with a 27 year old guy called Tony. Initially she didnt know his age cos he refused to disclosed his age to her when they first met. Few months into the relationship, she met her old school mate. They exchange pleasantries and they promised to pay each other a visit. When she went to her old mates house, as she got to the door and was about to knock, someone opened the door from the inside and behold it was her boyfriend (Tony). She was confused and didnt know what to think as conflicting thoughts flashes through her mind. Thinking of the connection between her old class mate and her young boyfriend. Her friend came smiling to the door and then introduced him as her kid brother in fact the last child in her family. She is at a cross road now because she has introduced him to her family as the man she wants to settle down with. With the news that he is way younger than her, she doesnt know how to convince herself or her family that its ok to go ahead with a plan of marrying him.
