Today one more phase of elections was over in our state. As usual - TopicsExpress

Today one more phase of elections was over in our state. As usual people came out in large numbers (barring few places) to vote. Till now the over all percentage has been around 65%. If we take all the facts into consideration, it means hardly 15% people have responded to boycott call consciously ( keeping in view the fact that the rest 20% wouldnt have voted in any case). It clearly shows that boycott as a strategy has failed by and large. It also clearly showed the kind of homework down by pro centre parties. And also exposed the lazy nature of our resistance groups. They have limited themselves to their central offices and hardly any big leader of theirs lives among his own people in the villages or small towns. When people face problems and cry for help, unfortunately they find these leaders in Srinagar offices rather than in their own towns and hamlets. P.S. Boycott is only a strategy and not the end for which we have been struggling. So if a strategy fails, it is better to revisit the same and devise the new one, lest the failed strategy might drown our ship. One more thing......Resistance is still strong and resistance leadership still commands the influence as far as real issue is concerned. If you dont believe me, just read the news about Gh Hassan Mir, how he tried to use the name of movement to make his position strong. If only our leadership could understand and make policies accordingly....Faatabiroo ya ulil absaar.....
