Today one of the M.S. groups posted the question in the first - TopicsExpress

Today one of the M.S. groups posted the question in the first picture, with Annette Funicello as the example. Most of the replies were full of fear... which isnt a bad thing IF that fear is used to fight. My reply is in the second picture. Maybe some of you are tired of this line of posts, but if my inadequate writing can help one person deal with this or any other disability (I prefer Diff-ability, since I have to do a lot of things differently, like thinking through the steps in order to swallow) then I will keep on writing as long as I can. If it educates others on what we go through daily, then I will keep on writing as long as I can. If it helps any person in any small way, regardless of health or circumstance, then I will keep on writing as long as I can. Because to be honest, it helps me. Im not looking for praise or even a following. Im offering a glimpse into the life and mind of an M.S. warrior; one who deals with numb fingers while doing counted cross stitch, an unsteady gait while walking four miles, hearing loss to the point that I dont sing around people any more because Im never sure if Im on key, and having to stop and think before I talk to make sure that what comes out of my mouth is what I meant to say. Dont pity me. Dont feel sorry for me. Dont be sad over this. Ive learned a lot about myself and others on this journey, and have much more to learn. Who am I? Im an M.S. warrior and survivor.
