Today one of the kids who would be considered trouble maker (constantly sent to my office for disobeying, disruption, etc) and constantly told us he hated higher ground because we forced him to do things came into my office voluntarily. He said, mr. Jansen, I want to thank you and let you know that this year I did not get held back. I am being promoted to 6th grade. And for the first time, I have good grades and was not getting into too much trouble in school. I want to come back to higher ground next year.
