Today our government made a mistake. The price on carbon has been repealed. We mourn the loss of this effective piece of legislation. Yet, we know that across Australia everyday people are standing up to protect the places we love from the impacts of climate change. In fact, 88% of Australians support reducing carbon emissions. We see it in many different forms with everyday people, from farmers to local communities, uniting to protect their land and water from climate change impacts.
