Today our grandson T.J. wanted to work on building a hitching post for my horses and putting some shelves up in my barn!! Here are a few pictures of the hitching post. T.J. learned how to use a skill saw, string level, electric drill, and how to dig post holes by hand and pounded nails into the lower part of the posts (the part that would be in the concrete and ground)!! T.J. then drilled holes in the posts and put in lag screws all by himself!!! He just keeps telling grandpa and I both how much fun that was!!! What a blessing to have him here helping us and us helping him learn. T.J. and I then cut up a 2 x 6 and then made shelves in the barn with them.
