Today, remaining two Councillors from Lozells and Handsworth East signed the pledge for Palestine. Councillors Hendrina Quinnen and Mahmood Hussain both agreed to sign Birminghams Pledge4Palestine. We are grateful that the Councillors are now prepared to sign the pledge and I am hoping other Councillors will join them. Councillor Waseem Zafar from the Ward had signed the pledge last year.Lozells and Handsworth is the first ward where all three of its Councillors have made a pledge for Palestine. Let us hope many other wards will follow in the next few weeks.
