Today, some twelve years ago, Les Berry Sr. pulled off an elaborate surprise proposal that involved cross country driving, a tupperware party, my best friend keeping sight of me like a gps for him, a gun show, a four hundred mile drive, a series of hidden treasure messages and finally a knight kneeling in my front yard calling me on a cell phone while I was on the balcony of the second floor historic home… and you better believe I said yes!
