Today started out very early and stressful for the Morrow County Dog Shelter, Mt. Gilead, OH. They, once again, flooded and had to be evacuated. I have posted a few photos from today showing how high the water was and the damage in the office after the water went down a bit. It is still high and with tonights rainfall may look just as bad as it did this morning. I was not there while they were evacuating the dogs...but I got there as soon as I knew about the situation and stayed until this evening. I will be adding more photos to document the destruction of the flood. I hope you will share these photos with your friends and families. This shelter works their butts off to take care of the dogs that come into their shelter and they need a safe shelter...not one that sits on a flood plain. Each photo has contact information for the Morrow County Commissioners...please take a moment of your time to contact them and let them know that the staff and dogs they care for needs and deserves a shelter that is safe!
