Today started with dark and gloomy weather. As we traveled the byways of Texas the country side was bare except for sage brush, mesiqute bushes and assorted cacti. While we did not deliver any UMCOR health kits today our time was spent traveling between locations. For miles as we traveled and the only traffic we saw was border patrol searching the brush and service roads. We passed through many small communities that are skeletons of their former selves.
