Today starts the beginning of my autoimmune upgrade. Anyone else who suffers from any type of autoimmune disease (arthritis [me x], psoriasis [x], autism, type 1 diabetes, alopecia, Graves, MS, thyroid issues [x], w/e) or gastro problem (IBS, leaky gut [x], Crohns, ulcerative cholitis, etc), or anyone who just wants to feel better is moooooore than welcome to join me. My health goal is to get my joints and skin in shape to do the WARRIOR DASHHHH in October aaaand to live a normal life. What is yours? This is what Im doing: Im going to start my day with my Herbalife shake, tea, vitamins, and about 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar and end it with Niteworks (nitric oxide supp. from Herbalife that reduces inflammation, helps immune system fight bacteria, and assists in gastric activity) and a daily cleanse tea steeped with ginger (anti-inflam). 1. Cut out the sugar! Only 1-2 servings of fruit per day. 2. No red meats--chicken, fish, turkey, tofu. 3. Greens, greens, GREENS! No night-shade veggies or veggie products (incl ketchup, salsa ( :( ) and other processed ones--If you dont know what a night-shade is, google it.) 4. No processed anything--no deli meats, no crappy cheeses. Fresh is best. 5. Limited starches--no white flour, no potatoes. Think complex carbs. Ready, set, go.
