Today sure wasnt what I had planned or expected. Yesterday, Chad told me something didnt smell good in my garage. I told him I didnt think so! When will I listen - this morning I was putting pop in the refrig in the garage and decided something really didnt smell too sweet . . . evidently the freezer in the storage room was left open - what a disaster!! I found this just before 10:00 and came into the house just before 5:00 - I cant remember working this hard!! I load up my truck with boxes and tubs of the meat. The flies and I went to the transfer station just outside of Sunnyside - they tell me I cant dump the stuff there but I have to take it to the dump above Zillah AND it as to be double bagged!! I stopped in Zillah and bought bags, went to the dump, weighed and then pulled to the side of the road to double bag all of this meat. A guy came up to me and asked what I was doing. He looked into this box and said boy I bet your husband is upset about losing his deer sausage, etc. I had been having a pity party to begin with and the poor guy was just trying to start a conversation. He doesnt know how lucky he was that I didnt invite him to the pity party!! Second guy pulls up behind my truck with a front-end loader and says to put it all in there and he would take it up to the landfill and bury it right then! I couldnt thank him enough. God sent me two angels. He saved me a lot of work!! I came home and Joe was here - even though Holly needed him at home - and he cut the work bench down so the Charger had more room when you open the door and then he and Chad loaded up two truck loads of Harlans tools and took them to Chads new shop. I sure dont need them and Chad has a perfect place for them! Thank you Chad, Holly and Joe for coming to my rescue!! I have half of the garage cleaned out - other half in the morning! That is if I can move!! Thank you my wonderful family! I love you all!!
