Today text is an eye opener, taken from 1 Peter 2;12. Together with the comment frm the Faithful Stewards, it enjoins all of us to show true and undiluted love for one another. This can be the basis for mouthless but effective witnessing to the world as exemplified by the observation of a tour guide in Germany who was so amazed, and unable to hold back his tougue, he contrasted what he was so fortunate to witnessed wt other worldly and Christendom- oriented events lacking love. As witnesses, does this not motivate us? But wait.......... The tour guide frank observation is a general one and so often do we hear of such commendation expecially in our large gatherings that is devoid of security men. But let us individualized it by asking: as a person, am i part of that general observation? Does my love for my brothers and sisters goes beyond congregation and convention meetings? Am i ready to be available if i can (sometimes even against my pleasure) for my needy brothers and sisters spiritually and materially? When called upon to attend to the weak, do i look towards it selflessly and with joy? There are so many interrogations that we needed ask ourselves. This is becos showing true love goes beyond smiles and handshakes so commonly displayed in our gathering but which can also be faked. Showing love is a veritable part of our worship to jehovah and so we should try to concretized it in an empirical and systematic way. It does not only distinguished us from people of the nations, it make us feel more family than family
