Today, the 13th, is the day for the memorial services for a classmate of mine. Brooke Charland-Wade fought a long and hard battle with cancer and lost that battle on May 2nd. Brooke was my girlfriend way back in 1967. She has always been somewhat special to me. We have been in contact several times since I was divorced. Most recently exchanging emails because of her illness. Memorial services will be at the Northside State Park at 11 AM. People have donated money for a park bench dedicated to Brooke. Many of my FB friends knew her and I hope to see many of you at this memorial. Brooke lived in the house with the long driveway where Pennsylvania Ave. ends into Bear Lake Rd when she was in high school. I am hoping my ankle allows me to make this memorial.
