Today the 16th of June is the day of the African child,the theme for this year is a child friendly quality free and compulsory education for all children in Africa Research conducted by open society initiative in for southern Africa (OSISA) highlight the fact that more than a quarter of a million children are out of school in Zambia and that 47% of those enrolled to not complete primary school.Long walking distances to schools and Early child marraiges is still a huge issue in this country with 42% of girls getting married before 18 How do we ensure the Zambian child boy or girls welfare is improved?
