Today the AWB team is working in Pokot to identify ways to transport materials to the 10 sites where we will be constructing AWB rainwater harvesting systems over the next four months. Most of these sites are very isolated and where access is very difficult - we will be using tractors in most places to haul materials - ballast, sand, hardcore, water (for construction) steel, hardware and equipment. Overcoming these challenges is what the AWB tries to do well. Maji ni uhai.
