Today the Class of 2014 is proud to feature Megan Reilly. Megan is an Art History major with a minor in French. She is part of the Distinguished Majors Program for Art History and is currently finishing up her thesis which focuses on contemporary photographer Sally Mann. Megan is a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority and is a Student Docent at The Fralin Museum of Art. As a Student Docent she leads gallery tours year round for youth visitors from the Charlottesville community. Throughout her time at UVA she has served as Chair of Public Relations for both the Student Docent program and the Kappa Delta Sorority. Last fall, Megan co-instructed a Cav-Ed course called Art Business, which educated students on the contemporary art market and the various career paths available in todays art world. What you probably did not know about Megan is that in a few weeks she will become the proud owner of a chocolate lab puppy. Megan has been utilizing her free time to read How-To and For Dummies books on dog ownership/ training. Her favorite moment at UVA was getting to dance around to Avicii in a motion capture suit for a Design Thinking project. Afterwards she got to animate her self-proclaimed terrible dance moves with an NBA players avatar. After graduation Megan will be working at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond. She plans to work for a year and then go to graduate school for Arts Education or Art History. The Class of 2014 is very proud of you Megan and wishes you the best! #Hoos Featured
