Today the Heritage Page marks the passing of Elsie June Preston who left this world behind on this day in 1989. Elsie was born in Barton, Maryland to Charles David Preston & Amy Ellen Metz in 1902. She married Charles Wesley Ross in 1920 and they made the home in Barton and later in LaVale & Rawlings. She spent her later retirement years with Charles in Moran Manor Nursing Home in Westernport, Maryland where they celebrated their 69th Wedding Anniversary together. She & Charlie never had any children. Elsie is resting in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Moscow, Maryland alongside her beloved Charlie. Rest-in-Peace Aunt Elsie.
