Today the Library of Congress announces this years additions to its National Recording Registry. Creedence Clearwater Revivals Fortunate Son, Jeff Buckleys cover of the Leonard Cohen song Hallelujah and Isaac Hayes Theme from Shaft are among the 25 recordings to be preserved for future generations. Recordings must be culturally, historically or aesthetically significant and be at least 10 years old. If you were to pick a song to add, what would it be? Let us know in the comments below and well spin a set after 9am.
