Today the Lifeline Bloodmobile will be at the Family Assistance Service Center in McKenzie from 10 am to 3 pm. They are in need of B Negative and O Negative Blood. So if you happen to be these blood types, please stop by and donate blood, you never know when you or a family member or friend may need blood. Tonight at the Carroll County Fair is School night for all students, so be sure to ask your son or daughter about their $2.00 off coupon for students. If you happen not to be a student, the cost of admission is $10. This includes all the rides that begin at 6pm and the Crockett County Mini Puller/lawn mower pull which will begin at 7. So come on out with the family and enjoy and evening at the Carroll County Fair. This afternoon, the McKenzie Rebel Soccer team will be hosting Haywood at 5:30 and the McKenzie Rebel Golf team will be traveling to play against Milan. Then on Friday evening the Rebel football team will be playing Trenton Peabody at the Rebel Field behind the middle school. Kickoff is at 6:30. And then 5th Quarter will be at the Shack Friday night, August 23, after the game until Midnight. This is for McKenzie High School students only. There will be an outdoor Drive-In Movie with popcorn, Bonfire with a smores table, Indoor games that will consist of WII, Pool & Ping Pong, a chocolate fountain with fruits, and Block City Pizza. Be sure to bring lawn chairs. The Rebel Round-up will be held on Saturday, Aug 24th from 12:00 - 3:00 P.M. at the McKenzie Middle School. There will be games, jumper, and a dunking booth with teachers participating. Admission is $1 per person. Then purchase tickets for the games. A battleball tournament will start at 3:00 in the gym. Each team will consist of 6 players. The cost is $5 per person. On Sunday Bethlehem Baptist Church located on Macedonia Road in Henry will be having their Homecoming Celebration Services, with former Pastor, Brother Toney Wiggins from Alabama, will be bringing the message at 11 am, with a meal to follow the morning service in the fellowship hall. Then at approximately 2 pm, the group Willing Hearts will be singing.
