Today the PreKindergarten children became fire-fighters! We walked down to the local fire station and learnt all about fire fighters in our community. We found out that the fire fighters here also work in other jobs and come to work at the fire station when there is an emergency, they are mostly volunteer fire-fighters. We got to try on the fire-fighter uniforms, look inside the fire engines and even fight our own fire. However the highlight of the whole trip was the trip back to school in the fire truck! The fire fighter even put the sirens on for us to hear!!!!
