Today the Sacramento bellydance community lost a great friend, Chance Wheeler, founder/owner of Shattered Imagery. I was a friend of his and worked with Chance a number of times, including some private gigs as well as public events. He was always looking for new ideas, trying to find ways to push boundaries further. Last year he worked on two events with me: a restaurants anniversary party and a womans 60th birthday. Both times he went above and beyond with helping make sure everything went smoothly and ran on schedule. And, of course, he always documented the moment with a camera. He was there to support me and witness some critical moments of my career, congratulating me when they happened and there to celebrate afterward. He was a real treasure to our community and will be sorely missed by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
