Today the Sheriffs Department received a donation of 26 Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) from the Steven M. Gootter Foundation. The combined value of this donation is approximately $30,000. These AEDs will be placed in patrol sergeants vehicles throughout the County. The decision was made to make these available to our Patrol Districts, since our deputies are often the first people on scene. Chief Deputy Nanos says We are very pleased about this generous donation, and want to make sure it will be used to the maximum benefit of the community.
