Today the family of FF/PM Andrew Hoffman, members of Engine 14, and union representatives visited the Kennedy Krieger Institute to deliver gifts to children receiving treatment at the hospital. The Hoffman family organized the event in honor Andrew, their son and brother who died late last year. FF/PM Hoffman received numerous awards and commendations during his time in the Fire Department. He was particularly committed to making a difference in the lives of children. They played talked, laughed and played games. It was a wonderful afternoon and a tribute to Andrews legacy.
