Today the last girl left that I coached at Sachem NOrth Varsity Cheer competes with her team in the Long Island Championship. Sammy Bozza to all that know her is a one of a kind kid. She was a natural leader from the moment I met her. She is funny as hell and mature well past her years. She is bright, hard working and one of the most passionate kids I have ever met. My change in coaching hurt her the most, she was the only one left still cheering and the day I told her I think I broke a little piece of her heart which in turn broke mine but we have worked together to overcome so much so this was just another thing on the list. Today is a BIG day for her! Everyone out there who has every stepped on that mat in an SNVC uniform please have positive thoughts for Sammy! She carries your legacy in her heart! She is a super star and I can not wait to see her shine out there today! She is one of the best cheerleaders I have ever coached ! She just gets it...loves it and it shows each and every time she performs! Aint No Mountain High Enough Sammy! Go get em!!! I will forever be your BIGGEST FAN!!!
