Today the media was full of stories how m7 is insisting that general aronda should be both in the army and politics as aminister appointed under art.113 how iwish he had gone to law school and wld read art.208 which says updf shall be non partisan. On acontescious matter all ministers must be bound by art.117 which is largely political. Secondly art.208 says the army shall be surbodinate to civilian authority.well aware of this provision all army men and women must saliute civilians. Keeping aronda in the army would make him salute afande katumba the army commander who is supposed to salute all ministers including now the internal affaiers minister. The third problem wld come when aronda starts to work as he would observe the oath of secrecy as aminister but on an order from katumba wamala his army commander he wld have to respect the order or risk being disciplined by the army. The fourth matter m7himself retired to engage in partisan pollitics why doesn,t he want aronda to retire by his appointment into this highly political job. The last and most interesting aroda himself disqualifiied this army boy who had chosen to stand against kabakumba. The valid reason why m7 now wants to bend the constitution is b,se he intends to appoint his son brig.muhoozi into acabinet post and still leave him powerful controlling the army!!!!!!!!!!""!"""! He thinks ugandans are too far from seeing his poly call it political games. All along he has been trying to bring the son into politics and now he thinks this is the opportunity. .
