Today, the nation collectively mourns the loss of Khushwant Singh, noted novelist, journalist & historian. The Padma Vibhushan awardee, an ardent secularist, held many key positions in various literary magazines and two broadsheet newspapers. His historic works, penned in poetic, patriotic fervor and heart rending, acid-laced, tongue-in-cheek prose, have inspired Indians through the years. We pay an earnest tribute to the legend.
