Today there was an accident outside the work zone but we had a one lane highway going on so with the emergency vehicles it was a difficult situation ...I couldnt stop the traffic at one point people didnt care if I had the stop side of the paddle showing. In fact the two lanes just went right past me, people actually grabbed the opposite lane too to get through ...I was in shock thinking what is wrong with these people....There was an accident over the next hill .which none of these drivers knew what was ahead of them..One of the dump truck drivers came up from behind me from the work zone swooped in front of me and stopped two lanes ....He was amazing....It took that to stop them....and I thought you know he saved lives and maybe even mine....He is my hero....of the day.....maybe the month :).
