Today they are talking about internet safety as it relate to - TopicsExpress

Today they are talking about internet safety as it relate to national security. They have gone to the extent of inviting and paying foreign security firms to monitor all internet conversations in Nigeria. We should know that billions of our Naira will be spent on this project. The question now for them is; can this be the basic needs of Nigerians now? They should know that there are millions of restless unemployed graduates out there. Every year, more troop out of (NYSC) service to join the millions of jobless youths. Is this the reason why they (the youths) bared the pain, and hardship of reading with candles under collapsed electricity supply and to serve the nation harsh environment, insecurity and negligence? Personally, I think this people are without vision and mission for Nigerians. They got in there never knowing which direction to take like feathers in the air. Hence the only thing they are (by default) good at is to loot for themselves, making every moves to achieves whatever policy that will favour them. They are now on the policy of Internet safety. They fear that one day these hungry (and of course) angry timid unemployed youths (with the increase social media network influx) will take advantage of the internet to form a formidable youth force that will revolutionize the country. They are afraid because automatically they would be the victims if that should happen. Therefore, my advice to them as a good patriotic Nigerian who believes in the spirit of oneness or unity irrespective of ethnicity (Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, Tivs, Ijaw, Itsekiri, Edos e.t.c. no minority) colour and religious background is that they should concentrate their efforts on job creation for the youths of this great Nation. As they say an idol mind is the devils workshop, that is exactly what is happening today. No human being who owns property and hopeful about the future would dare into crime except if the person is psychologically imbalanced. They should create companies, encourage talents/skills, provide enabling environment for investors and give job appointments to those who merit it. One thing very obvious about Nigerians is that we are hardworking people, Give them the room to deliver the best and reward them accordingly instead of giving benefits, opportunities and rewards to the foolish, unproductive and deserving persons in the name of HE GET LEVELS. We all have roles to play in the betterment of this great country. Let us not be selfish, correct any wrong doings around you starting from your homes. If we can all have this orientation of correcting evils, and rendering our best, then I can emphatically say I DREAM TO SEE A EARTHLY PARADISE CALLED NIGERIA, and with that our founding fathers who have had the dream and were working earnestly to make it a reality (if not for the cold arms of death) will be smiling in their graves. GOD BLESS NIGERIA
