Today/this weekend marks a contrast in moments. We learned today - TopicsExpress

Today/this weekend marks a contrast in moments. We learned today that a young (19 years old) member of the Delta Chi brotherhood, Austen Lamb was killed in a vehicle accident. This is a tragic example of the guarantee that none of us are afforded tomorrow and how we live now defines how we are remembered tomorrow. I am proud that Austen leaves a strong legacy with the other members of Delta Chi at this tragic time. In contrast, I am delighted to watch David Dee and Katie Murphy take that next step together in marriage. I have the fortune of working with so many members of Delta Chi and while I am sure it seems like a lifetime ago for him, I still recall David as chapter President and then my GA. I’m proud of the man he is and proud that Delta Chi, whether for only a short time as in Austen’s case, or years in the cases of David, has such a positive impact on so many. ITB BPRP
