Today through Saturday, Chase’s Robotics Team will be competing at the Super Regional in York, PA. There, the team will take on 71 others that have advanced through their state championships for the right to one of 24 spots in the World Championships later in the month. Last month, the team progressed through to the East Super Regional of the FIRST Technology Challenge by winning the Motivate Award and placing third for the Inspire Award at the CT State Competition. There, they were recognized for volunteering at the FIRST Lego League competitions for the younger students, raising awareness of the program by having their Robot make a cameo performance in Chase’s fall musical production, and for raising money for Officer Brett Morgan as well as the team’s own needs.
