Today...two very influential individuals within the Miss Georgia Scholarship Pageant passed away. Over the years, they had a profound affect on many young ladies within the Miss America Organization. Those of us who volunteer and work tirelessly within the Miss America Organization are passionate, fierce and honest individuals to a fault. Many people ask why I volunteer for the MAO and it is because the change we hope and are able to see in the countless young ladies who enter our lives every year. Though we all might know always agree with one another WE ALL share the same passion, fierceness and honesty for the Miss America Organization. For tonight, this incredible and amazing organization is just a little sadder and heavier by the passing of Greg Woodlief and Mark Castleberry. Tonight I will pray for their family, friends, the countless volunteers and the amazing, beautiful young ladies who were touched by these two gentlemen. Greg and Mark made an indelible mark within this organization that will not soon be forgotten. God speed, Greg and Mark.
