Today was Alis last physical therapy until they can get more approved from insurance. She is doing much better, although her knees are bad from contractions (possibly going to have to do botox later for this), she is stronger. I actually helped her walk into therapy today instead of using her wheelchair. We couldnt have done that in September after 6 months of no therapy, so praying there are no delays in them approving it this time. The pcp said there is no UTI, or at least the test came back negative today. He is going to culture it and make sure, but at this time he said the issues with wetting herself may because of poor hygiene. She told them that it hurts when she goes to the bathroom, and he said at that age they have a hard time cleaning themselves (even non special needs) so he suggested using aloe hypoallergenic wipes for her. She has lost almost a pound since Thursday, I am getting really worried about this weight loss and if she continues not eating I will call Dr. Friedrich (neurologist at Texas Childrens) and talk to her about it again. She has lost almost 2 pounds since our visit with them almost 2 weeks ago. Tomorrow is going to be a quiet day for us. Have a wonderful evening and God Bless everyone.
